Harvest Church of the Nazarene

Thank you!

We Celebrated with 19 Children Under 10 this Year.
The babies received handmade quilts and the older children each received a book of fables and a bag of toys to celebrate their faith.
We honored 12 nursery workers with Bible totes and Praised the Lord for our precious children.

Many, Many Thanks to All Who Made the Day So Special!!!!

During Sunday School and Morning Worship

Children's Day at the Harvest Church of the Nazarene is the highlight of the children's Sunday School year. It is held every year in May to honor our babies and children under 10.  This year we will celebrate Children's Day on Sunday, May 6, 2007 during Sunday School and Sunday Morning Worship.  We will present gifts to all of our children 10 and under and rejoice with them as they take the lead in our Worship.

The children spend many hours in preparation for this special day where a special program takes place during the morning worship service. It varies from year to year, but it always includes the children's participation in everything from singing, scripture reading, skits, greeting, prayers, taking up the offering and handing out bulletins.

It is also a time to recognize our devoted Sunday School teachers who have spent many hours of preparation, love and care in teaching their Sunday School classes. Their dedication and commitment to the Sunday School program goes above and beyond the call of duty and the children know that. We know that too and want to be sure they know they are appreciated.

Please contact Alexia Webster at alexia@savharvest.com or Karen Ravis at kravis@savharvest.com for more information or to be sure your child has been included in our planned activities and gifts.
